Volunteering

In 2012, ICCGSA implemented the ICCGSA Corporative Voluntary Service by developing the campaign “Abrigame 2012” (“Wrap me up warm 2012”). The workers of the company helped more than 500 children and elderly people of Quiaca town in Puno.

Since 2013, the company has developed the “Pukllay” voluntary project which consisted in an implementation of a community toy library with an environmental approach. It is located in Vista Alegre human settlement in “Lomo de Corvina” – Lurin.

The project seeks to provide a safe space of development and stimulation for children of limited resources. The methodology is focused on the care of the environment, the development of children social abilities, and capacities for mothers, with the permanent help of ICCGSA voluntary workers and other professionals dedicated to this project. The Pukllay project won the “Semillas Voluntarias” prize in 2014.
