ICCGSA donated warm clothes in the highest areas of Tacna

  • Around 1300 warm clothes and blankets were donated to towns of Pampahuyuni, Ancomarca, Alto Peru, Collpa and Rio Mauri.
  • Around 400 settlers, that live at 4,200 m above sea level, received the donation to calm down the winter season.

Lima, July 7th, 2016.- ICCGSA, Peruvian Company of engineering and construction, donated warm clothes as part of the activities of the Corporate Volunteering “Abrígame 2016” (“Wrap me up 2016”). It reached around 400 people who live in towns near the road project of the binational corridor: Tacna – Collpa La Paz where the company executes construction works in the III section of the road. It will join Tacna and Bolivia.

ICCGSA coworkers promoted this campaign that reached a donation of 1300 warm clothes and blankets to benefit people of towns of Pampahuyuni, Ancomarca, Alto Peru, Collpa and Rio Mauri.

On June 28th, the donation was given by gathering all people in the town of Ancomarca. The donation was mainly given to children and elderly people of the area affected by low temperatures, located at more than 4,200 above sea level. The little ones also received sweat suits, caps, gloves, socks and boots to endure extreme weather conditions at the South of the country.

Once again, ICCGSA coworkers expressed their solidarity in favor of those in need.  The Corporate Volunteering is part of the social responsibility management promoted by the company in order to raise social awareness, participation and commitment of their coworkers with the affected areas of the country.
